Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is having the anti-fungal and antiseptic properties which are necessary to fight with the various skin problems. It reduces the fungal infections and helps in decreasing the infection effectively. Take a cotton ball and soak it in the tea tree oil, apply it on the infected area and hold it for five to ten minutes. Repeat doing this remedy for two to three times in a day. The practice of this method helps in reducing the ring worm completely.

Garlic

Garlic consists of a natural antifungal agent called ajoene, which is required to cure some fungal infections in the body, including ring worm. Many of the studies have showed the results of reduction of the ring worm due to its ajoene property. Let us see how to apply on the ring worm. Take few garlic cloves and mash to into paste. Apply this paste on the ring worm and wrap it with a cotton cloth to hold the garlic on the infected area. Try this remedy before going to bed to get the best results.

Apple cider vinegar

The antifungal property of apple cider vinegar helps in treating the ring worm infection. Dip a cotton ball in the apple cider vinegar solution and apply it on the ring worm area. Leave it for about an hour or more and then remove it. Try this remedy for two to three times a day to cure the problem. Addition of apple cider vinegar to your food items helps in increasing the overall health.

Vinegar and salt

As we know vinegar consists of antifungal properties, it helps in relieving the ring worm. Mix vinegar with salt and form a thick paste. Retain it over the affected area and leave it for five to ten minutes. Work on this remedy for continuous seven days to vanish the infection.

Turmeric

The handy spice available at our homes, turmeric helps in reducing the infection through its antibiotic properties. This remedy helps to remove the overall infections and bacteria present in the skin. Take the fresh turmeric juice and spread it on the infected area by using a cotton cloth or cotton ball. Repeat this remedy for two to three times a day to get the best benefits.

Coconut oil

Every one can try applying coconut oil to get relief from itchiness that is common with the ringworm infection. The healing properties of coconut oil reduce the infection and make the skin smooth and soft. Applying coconut oil is an ideal treatment to reduce the scalp ringworms. Myrrh

It is the best remedy to reduce the itchiness on the ringworm.Drink a glass of lemongrass tea three times a day and apply the used tea bag on the affected area.

Olive leaf

It is found to contain excellent therapeutic properties for various health problems. It is also the most powerful home remedy for ringworm.  It helps in boosting the body’s immune system with the help of anti-fungal properties in it. This can be used by mixing olive leaf extract powder with olive oil to make a paste.  Apply this paste on the rashes.

Raw papaya paste

It helps to destroy the old dead cells from theuppermost layers of the skin. This is the area where the ringworm fungi live and grow. Papaya does not interfere with the young healthy cells but destroy the shields of viruses, yeasts, and various types of fungus with the help of the papain in it. It also helps to cure the inflammation and relieve the burning sensation on the skin.  It is a soothing treatment for the ringworm infection. Cut pieces of papaya or make a paste and rub it on the ringworm. Leave it for 20 minutes and then wash it with warm water.

Salt

Salt is an excellent astringent which fastens the healing of wounds.It disinfects the affected area and dries up the rash patches of the ringworm. Sea salt can be applied on the affected area. In the process to treat ringworm infection soak the affected area in a tub of warm water to which some sea salt is added. Alternatively moisten the sea salt with some vinegar and apply it on the ringworm infected area. Apply this paste three times a day.

Grapefruit seed extract

This can be derived from the seeds, pulp and white membranes of grapefruit. It is a fine antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial agent which can boost the immune system of the body if taken internally. The extract can also be applied on the ringworm externally by mixing it with a few drops of water.
