Have you suddenly started to experience pimple breakouts during pregnancy? If your answer is yes, there is actually nothing to be worried about it.
You can suddenly start having pimples during pregnancy even if you never had the problem before and for the women who had the problem of acne and pimple in the past or still have a tendency of breakouts, the problem can be certainly more acute.
However, there is a particular difference between the normal pimple breakouts and the pimple breakouts during pregnancy. More often than not the breakouts during pregnancy are more severe and it is the hormones that we have to blame.
Causes of pimples during pregnancy
Pregnancy is not only about getting that beautiful glow on the skin, but in reality, pregnancy is a time when you are expected to experience many skin problems and changes.
It happens particularly due to the changing levels of hormones in the body, which affects the skin. The pimple breakouts during pregnancy are more serious and you might not actually be able to get rid of them completely until you have delivered and your hormonal balance has reached back to their normal state.
The good thing is that, the pimple breakouts caused due to pregnancy goes away on their own after the delivery of the baby.
So, in this span, even if you are not able to get rid of the pimples completely, there is nothing to worry.
All you need to do is to make sure that the breakout does not get worse which can harm the skin; because the pimples will go away on their own after the pregnancy is over, but if they cause scars on the skin, it might be difficult to get rid of them.
Why natural ways?
When you are pregnant, you have to maintain a strict restriction about any medicine you consume or even use topically.
Even if your pimples are getting worse during pregnancy, your gynecologist might not actually suggest you to use any medicated or chemically formulated product for it, as some of the ingredients of these topical formulations can be absorbed into the skin and might pass to the baby.
So, if you are suffering from pimples during pregnancy, the best way is to stick to the natural ways and home remedies.
