Oats

Oats is used for skin exfoliation, and is surprisingly better than expected remedies. Oatmeal mask for your face can be an easy remedy to cure black spots and wash off dead skin. Take half cup of rolled oats and grind it. Add 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice and create paste. Scrub your skin so that the dead skin cells wash off. Wash it with warm water after it dries. Sandalwood

Take 1 tablespoon of good quality sandalwood powder and add it with 1 tablespoon of glycerin. Add 3 tablespoons of rose water and mix well. Replace rose water with honey or milk if you don’t get desired quality to buy. Apply the paste and let it sit on the skin, leave it for few minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Repeat daily till you get desired results. When you are purchasing sandalwood and rose water, make sure that they are specifically used for skin and are of good quality. It is important to not risk quality when you have to treat you skin.

Buttermilk

Take 4 teaspoons of buttermilk and then add 2 teaspoons of tomato juice to it. Blend well and apply on skin. Let it soak for 15 minutes and then wash it off. Lactic acid in milk helps the pigmentation reduce. It then brightens the skin complexion. You can also use plain milk, although it’ll slightly reduce the effect. Soak cotton in plan milk and dab on the spots. Let it soak for 10 minutes and then wash off. Repeat twice a day for a month till visible results are obtained. If you want to enhance the effect add honey to the milk and then apply on the dark spots.

Almonds

Almonds too are great to reduce dark spots. Take about 8 to 10 pieces and soak them overnight. Have it peeled the next morning and then grind. Add 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder along with ½ teaspoon of honey. Make smooth paste and have it applied to your face. Let it sit for 30 minutes and wash off. You can also blend in lemon extract and ground almond. Make smooth paste out of the two and then apply it to your black spots. Scrub well so that the dirt comes out and then have it washed off. Repeat once a week and see the difference.
