Milk plays multiple roles in protecting your skin from the dirt and pollution and giving an excellently smooth and glowing skin to you.

Milk, Honey & Kesar Mask
This combination of milk, honey, and Kesar (saffron) helps you to rejuvenate your skin and to moisturise it adequately. These ingredients are completely safe for acne-prone skin and hence can be used for all skin types.
Ingredients
- ½ cup milk/raw milk
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4-5 strands of kesar (saffron)
Directions to use
- Combine honey, milk and kesar in a bowl.
- Wait till the strands of kesar dissolve completely in the mixture.
- Apply this mask on your face and leave it for 30 minutes.
- Later, wet your fingers with water and rub the mask gently.
- Rinse off the mask with cool water if you have dry skin and with lukewarm water if oily skin.
Milk & Besan Mask
Milk and besan pack has been traditionally used for soft and glowing skin. Regular use of this mask can relieve you from any skin issues. It is absolutely safe to be used on pimples and acne-prone skin.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tbsp besan (chickpea flour)
- ½ tbsp turmeric
- ½ tbsp honey
Directions to use
- Mix the ingredients mentioned above and blend with a spoon properly so that there are no lumps left.
- Apply the blended paste on your face and neck area.
- Leave the mask for another 20 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water if you have dry skin; the ones who have an oily texture on their skin should rinse with lukewarm water.
Milk & Moong Beans Mask
Moong beans, apart from acting as an effective natural scrub, can give your dull and tired skin an instant rejuvenation when used with milk. Moreover, this combination not only makes your face acne-free but also helps in soothing your skin.
Ingredients
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp moong (green gram)
- ¼ tbsp turmeric
Directions to use
- Soak the moong beans in milk overnight.
- Grind them making sure the paste is grainy and not completely smooth.
- Add turmeric and milk to this paste. Ensure the paste is not runny.
- Apply this mask on your face.
- Leave the mask for 20 minutes or until it dries partially.
- Do not let the mask dry completely as it will stretch your skin.
- Rinse off the partially dried mask with lukewarm water.
- While taking off the mask, rub it gently to exfoliate your skin.
- By doing so, your dead skin gets removed giving a glow to your face.
