Though it is not a nutrient, but still it is essential as it provides energy to body for its functioning. It would be great to know that milk is a good source of fat too. The saturated fat present in milk is never responsible for any sort of cardiovascular problem. Energy is produced when the fat is burnt while digestion. Fat is also necessary as it provides lubrication.
