Vegetables are considered an excellent option for making your skin glow. It keeps your skin moisturized and hydrated; it also helps in rejuvenating the skin and lightening the skin tone. Vegetables are one of the food groups that can most conveniently be treated and used as a beauty product. If you have skin problems then try some of these masks and natural treatments:
Carrot and potato paste
Cut one carrot, one potato and some cabbage into small pieces. Boil until soft before mashing them together. Add a teaspoon of milk to form a smooth paste. Apply to the face, rubbing carefully with circular motions.
Radish and carrot juice pack
Take one teaspoon of radish juice, one teaspoon of carrot juice, one egg white and one teaspoon of wheat flour and mix all the ingredients together, apply and leave for 15 minutes for soft and glowing skin.
Tomatoes have antioxidant properties which help the skin cells repair. Mash one tomato and add one tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply to face and let it dry. Rinse thoroughly with cold water after 15 minutes.
This is great for people with dry skin problems. Smash the potato nicely and mix it with a little cold milk. Gently massage your face with it for some time. Then leave it for 5 minutes before washing off using cold water.
This is one of the best anti-aging face pack. Take two teaspoons of yoghurt, one teaspoon of honey and lemon juice, grated cucumber and about 3 capsules of vitamin E. Mix all the ingredients properly and apply on face and neck for 15 minutes. Wash off using warm water.
Pineapple face mask
Pineapple juice helps to clear out your acnes and inflammations and is also abundant in vitamins and minerals that are found in expensive skin care products. You’ll need 2-3 drops of lemon juice and one tablespoon of clay. Mix the ingredients into a fine blend and apply to face with a brush. Leave it on for 10 minutes and take it off used a cotton ball dipped in pineapple juice and wash off with cold water.
This is an instant skin whitening pack with salon standard effects. The steps include cleansing, scrubbing and facial. For the first step, you will need one tablespoon each of banana paste, raw milk and lemon juice. Clean your skin with this paste using a cotton ball. For scrubbing take one tablespoon each of sugar, gram flour, banana paste and raw milk. Scrub your skin for 10 minutes with the mixture and wash off with cold water. For the final step, you will need two tablespoon banana paste, milk powder, raw milk, and honey and lemon juice. Apply the mixture with a brush and wash when dry.
Oatmeal face mask for oily skin
Required ingredients are 2 tbsp. of oatmeal, 3 tablespoon of tomato juice, cucumber juice, yoghurt and crushed mint leaves. Mix it well and apply for an acne free, glowing and supple skin.
Beet face mask
Peel the beet and cut it into four pieces. Rub them in a fine grater. Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream or yoghurt. Mix it together and your mask is ready. Gently apply mask to face and rinse off after 15 minutes. This is highly effective for improving complexion and evens out blotches all the same.
Cucumber face mask and toner
Grind the freshly chopped cucumbers in a grinder, filter out the juice and squeeze lemon drops into it; it will later serve as a toner. Now, apply to face the mashed cucumber and leave on for about 15 minutes before washing off. Use the toner now with a cotton ball and notice wonders within 5 days of application.
