Following are the various face packs containing green tea that results in the smooth, spot-free and glowing skin:

  1. Green tea powder and honey face pack: One tablespoon green tea powder is mixed with ½ tablespoon honey to form a smooth mixture. Add sufficient quantity of rose water to obtain a mixture of proper consistency. Apply this mixture on face and neck. Leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.
  2. Green tea leaves and Yogurt face pack: One tablespoon of green tea leaves are thoroughly mixed with 2 tablespoons of yogurt. A pinch of turmeric is added to the mixture. The mixture is applied to the face and neck. Leave it to dry for 20-30 minutes and then wash off the face with water.
  3. Green tea and cocoa powder face pack: On tablespoon, green tea powder is mixed with one tablespoon cocoa powder. Add sufficient quantity of almond oil to obtain a paste of proper consistency. Apply the paste on the face. Let it dry for 20 minutes and wash off with normal water.
  4. Green tea liquid and rice flour: 1 tablespoon green tea extract is obtained by boiling the green tea powder. To this liquid extract, ½ tablespoon of rice flour and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice is added. Mix thoroughly and apply the mixture on your face. Let it dry for 20 minutes and wash off the face with water.
  5. Green tea extract with cucumber juice face pack: Green tea extract is obtained by boiling 1 teaspoon of green tea leaves in water and then straining the liquid. Cucumber juice is obtained from one slice of cucumber. Both green tea liquid extract and cucumber juice are mixed and apply the mixture on face. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes and wash off with normal water.
  6. Green tea liquid extract and Multani mitti face pack: 1 teaspoon green tea leaves and 7-8 neem leaves are added to the boiling water. The water is boiled until the color of water becomes dark red. Strain the water. Add this water in sufficient quantity of Multani mitti to obtain a paste of optimum consistency. Apply the paste on face. Let it dry for 30 minutes and wash off with water.
  7. Green tea liquid extract and orange juice face pack: ½ teaspoon of green tea leaves are added to water and water is boiled till it becomes dark red. Cool the water and add 1 teaspoon of fresh orange juice. Mix them well and apply the mixture on face. Let it dry for 10 minutes and wash off the face. As the mixture is very thin, dabbing on the face with the help of cotton can be done.

How to treat acne & pimples with green tea

  1. Green tea and Milk powder face mask: 1 teaspoon besan, 1 teaspoon milk powder and a pinch of haldi are taken and mix well to obtain a dry mixture. Add the green tea leaves by opening a tea bag. Add sufficient quantity of rose oil to the mixture and mix thoroughly to obtain a paste of proper consistency. Apply the paste on the face. Let it dry for 20-30 minutes and wash off with water.
  2. Green tea and Lemon face mask: 1 tablespoon green tea powder is boiled in a small amount of water and the mixture is strained. Let the liquid be completely cooled. Add 1 teaspoon of besan and ½ teaspoon of lemon juice to the green tea liquid. Mix well to get smooth, lump less paste of proper consistency. Apply the mask on the face. Let it dry for 45 minutes and wash the face with water.
  3. Green tea powder and aloe Vera gel face mask: 1 teaspoon green tea powder, 1 teaspoon honey, and 1 teaspoon Aloe Vera gel is mixed thoroughly to obtain a paste of proper consistency. Apply this pack on the face. Leave it to dry for 45-50 minutes and wash off with water.
  4. Green tea and oatmeal face mask: You should cut a green tea bag and pour into a small quantity of water. Boil it till the color becomes red dark. Strain the water and allow it to cool. Now add 2 teaspoon oatmeal powder, 1 teaspoon honey and half teaspoon fresh lemon juice to the green tea liquid. Mix them thoroughly to obtain a paste. Apply this mask on face and leave it for 40 minutes. Wash off with water and pat dry.
  5. Green tea extract and cream face mask: Green tea leaves from a tea bag are boiled in water until the color becomes bright red. Strain the liquid and cool the green tea solution. Add 1 teaspoon cream and 1 teaspoon sugar to the green tea solution. Apply the solution on the face and let it dry for 15 minutes. Wash off with water and pat dry.
  6. Green tea extract and banana face mask: Green tea solution is obtained by boiling a few green tea leaves in water and straining the solution.  Add 1 teaspoon mashed bananas to 1 teaspoon yogurt and mix thoroughly. Add a small quantity of green tea solution to this mixture to obtain a paste. Apply this mask on the face and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash off the face with normal water.
