How to make

Pluck some tulsi leaves from the plant and dry them in the shade for three to four days. After that grind the leaves to make a fine powder.

Mix one tablespoon of tulsi leaves powder with half tablespoon of curd and make it into a fine paste. Apply this paste on your face as a general pack and allow it to become dry. Rinse off with cool water and pat it dry.

Tulsi & honey face pack

  • 20-30 Tulsi leaves
  • Half tablespoon of besan powder
  • Few drops of honey

How to make

Take 20-30 tulsi leaves and grind them with the enough water, squeeze the paste and extract the juice from it. Add this juice with half tablespoon of besan powder and few drops of honey.

Mix the ingredients all together and spread it on your face as a face mask. Let it sit for some time and then rinse off with warm water.  The cooling affect of the tulsi leaves gives you a fresh feel and relaxes you.

How to use multani mitti for oily skin

  • Two tablespoons of tulsi leaves powder
  • One tablespoon of multani mitti
  • One tablespoon of sandal powder
  • 4-5 drops of rose water
  • 4-5 drops of olive oil
  • Few drops of water

How to make

Take a small bowl and add it tulsi powder, sandal powder, olive oil, multani mitti and rose water. Mix them well with your fingertips or spoon to make a smooth and spreadable paste.

Apply this mask on your face and retain it for about 20 to 30 minutes. After that rinse off with cold water and pat it dry thoroughly.

Tulsi & neem leaves face pack

  • 15-20 neem leaves
  • 15-20 tulsi leaves
  • Two cloves
  • Water

How to make

Take both of the leaves neem and tulsi and rinse them off to take out the dirt from it. Now grind both of them with the add up of enough water, add this mixture a paste formed out of two cloves.

Mix them well and apply it on your face and neck entirely eliminating the eye and lip zone. Keep it for around 30 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

Tulsi and milk face pack

  • 10 Tulsi leaves
  • ½ a teaspoon of milk powder or milk
  • A glass of water


Take about ten Tulsi leaves and half a teaspoonful of milk or milk powder. Grind the basil leaves and add some milk powder or milk to it to form a paste of medium consistency.

Apply the paste on face and allow it to dry for twenty minutes’ time. Wash the face with plain water. This Tulsi face pack is excellent for making the skin look bright and it adds an instant glow to the skin.

  • Some tomato pulp (made from 1 tomato)
  • 10 to 12 Tulsi leaves


This homemade face pack is highly effective in removing the scars and marks left by the breakouts. You will need some tomato pulp and some ten to twelve Tulsi leaves.

Grind some Tulsi leaves and add some tomato pulp to it. Apply this on face and leave this mixture to dry for fifteen minutes.

  • Some lime juice
  • 10 to 12 Tulsi leaves


Mix some crushed Tulsi leaves in a bowl with a few drops of lime juice. Stir to make it a smooth paste and apply this in the form of a face mask.

  • Some gram flour (besan)
  • Thirty to Forty Tulsi leaves
  • A few drops of honey


Grind about thirty to forty Tulsi leaves in order to prepare this pack. Sieve the paste in order to remove the water from the basil leaves. In this water, add a little gram flour or besan.

Add a few drops of honey to this mixture to form a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the skin and leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes. You will feel a soothing sensation due to the extracts of Tulsi. Wash thoroughly using some warm water and if required, use a moisturizer.

Tulsi and oatmeal face pack

  • 1 teaspoon of oatmeal powder
  • 1 teaspoon of milk powder
  • 10 to 12 Tulsi leaves
  • A glassful of water


Mix the ground Tulsi leaves with one teaspoon of oatmeal powder and one teaspoon of milk powder. Use a few drops of water from the glass to form a smooth paste.

Make use of the remaining water to clean your face and then, apply the pack. Wash face with some ice cold water after leaving on the face pack for about fifteen minutes on face.

Do not step out immediately into the hot sun after using this pack. Make sure you use this pack only in the evening. Use three times a week for three weeks and you will see a huge difference in the skin tone.

Tulsi and sandalwood powder face pack


  • 1 teaspoonful of sandalwood powder
  • 15 to 20 Tulsi leaves
  • A few drops of rose water
  • 3-5 drops of olive oil


Grind the Tulsi leaves to form powder. Add some sandalwood powder to it along with some olive oil and a few drops of rose water to form a fine paste.

Apply to the face and let it be on the face for about twenty to thirty minutes. You can rinse it off with some cold water afterwards. This will leave you feeling fresh all day long.
