Essential Salt and Honey scrub

  1. 1/2 mug of marine salt
  2. 1/2 mug of honey

This is a basic salt-and-honey scrub recipe which exfoliates, moisturizes, and nurtures the epidermis. Yo can even choose to use rosemary, lavender, basil, or mint oil. To make it, blend the ingredients well.

  • Yogurt contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxyl which can be used as a scrub for all types of skin. Apply plain yogurt as a facial or on other parts of the body. Let it set for about 20 minutes, and then rinse.
  • Milk also hydrates and exfoliates the skin as well as tones the skin. Apply raw milk on the face and leave it to dry before washing.
  • Ground fruit seeds and nuts–Ground fruit seeds like that of raspberry or blackberry and ground almonds are both popular for skin exfoliating. They loosen and remove dead cells when rubbed on the skin in circular motion. Ground stone pits of peach and apricot and nut shells of walnut shells also work wonders in exfoliating the skin. But these shells have to be used carefully after crushing  and grinding them smoothly
