For this remedy, take some apple cider vinegar and apply it on your scalp properly. Let the AVC sit on your scalp for sometime and then wash it off properly. Let your hair dry partially and then apply some neem oil on your scalp. Dry off your hair with a clean towel and you are done.

Neem oil shampoo for dandruff

This remedy is one of the easiest among all and gives very amazing results. For this remedy you will need your regular shampoo and some neem oil. Take the amount of shampoo that you would require for washing your hair on your palm and then to it add around half a tablespoon of neem oil. Mix both the products well to prepare a homogenous mixture and use the mixture prepared for washing your hair. You need to wash your hair just the way you would do normally and then wash it off. Repeat this remedy for thrice a week for better results.

Olive oil and neem oil

Using concentrated neem oil for treating dandruff on your scalp would not be a good idea and will be very strong for your scalp. Therefore it is always advised to mix it with some other carrier oil. For this remedy you will need equal amounts of olive oil and neem oil. Mix both the oils well and then apply it on your scalp just like your regular hair oil. You can also keep the hair oil overnight on your scalp for better results, however, it is advised to keep the oil on your hair at least for 2-3 hours. Next, wash your hair with your regular shampoo and apply a conditioner.

Curd, as we know is an amazing remedy for treating dandruff. When you add few drops of neem oil to the curd, the result maximizes. For this remedy you need to add 3-4 drops of neem oil to half a cup of curd and mix well. Apply the mixture prepared on your scalp and let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Wash off with your regular shampoo. Repeat once a week for better results.

Neem oil and apple cider vinegar

Firstly, start with a clean scalp and hair. Apply a generous amount of apple cider vinegar on your scalp and leave it on for around 2-3 minutes. Rinse your hair properly and let it dry partially. Apply very little amount of neem oil on your scalp. Lastly, dry your hair using a clean towel.

Neem oil and almond oil/coconut oil

Using only concentrated neem oil can be very strong for your hair at times. It is always a good idea to mix the neem oil with other oils like olive oil, almond oil or coconut oil before using it on your scalp.

For preparing the hair mask take 1 tbsp of bhringraj, 1 spoon of neem oil, 1 tbsp of shikakai and 1 tbsp of methi or fenugreek powder and mix well to prepare a smooth paste. Apply the hair mask prepared on your scalp and hair and leave it on for 1 hour and then wash it off using a mild shampoo.
