Vegetable oil
You can use a variety of vegetable oils to treat dry, cracked feet. Sesame oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or any other vegetable oil that has been hydrogenated will work. If you want to see the desired results, you should follow this remedy before you can go to sleep in order to allow ample time for the oil to have an effect on the dry and cracked feet. First soak your feet in the water that is soapy and scrub your feet using a pumice stone. Then, wash your feet and dry them well. Apply any of the above-mentioned vegetable oils liberally on your soles and your feet. Put on a pair of socks that have been washed thoroughly and leave them on overnight. It also works as a natural humectant to soften your skin. Add two tablespoons of coconut oil or mustard oil to a block of melted paraffin wax. Allow the mixture to come to room temperature and then, wait until a thin layer forms on the top. Now, soak your feet in the mixture and wait for about five to ten seconds. Do this until several layers of wax have been built up or till you can see the results. Cover your feet with a layer of plastic and then, wait for half an hour before you can remove the plastic and peel the layers of wax off your skin. Follow this treatment once or twice a week. However, if you are a diabetic or have poor blood circulation in the body, then do not follow this treatment. Also, make sure that you do not dip your feet in the wax while it is scalding hot.
